In the FTW elbow pad, D3O is combined with a low profile JDP cap and exposed EVA foam, which helps to disperse the force of impact away from the elbow. In the forearm, there is an exposed HD foam guard, designed to allow better mobility without sacrificing protection.  

Amplified mobility is made possible by the 3-piece flex motion design so you can dangle, pass and shoot with the best of them. For the attachment system, the FTW includes a middle lock strap and a nylon forearm strap. The extended landing zones allow you to place the straps where you need them in order to feel comfortable on the ice.
