The CCM Tacks 9040 Shin Guards offer affordable protection for the entry-level or recreational hockey player. The JDP constructed knee cap and ribbed shell design do a great job of dissipating impact energy away from the leg. CCM boosted the calf protection for this price point and integrated a molded PE insert in the calf guard to defend against slashes and blocked shots. The interior features a removable moisture-wicking liner to reduce drying time after a game or practice.
