CCM places a focus on all the key areas to make sure your legs are protected from shots and stick checks. In the calf, the 9060 includes compress molded, exposed foam with PE inserts. This combination offers good protection in an area that is often neglected but nonetheless important to protect. 

In the knee and shin caps, CCM includes PE plastic. In the knee, PE is combined with the high-end JDP construction, designed to disperse the force of impact away from the area, a great feature for blocking shots. And in the shin, the PE cap is anatomical and includes a landing to lock in hockey tape, offering you the feel you’re looking for and a unique feature to help keep your pads secure throughout the game. 

The 9060 shin pad includes a two-strap attachment system, the same that is used in the top-of-the-line Super Tacks AS1 model. This system includes an upper lock strap which secures the pad to the knee area, and a length adjustable calf strap, allowing some personalization in terms of fit depending on your calf size and how snug you want your pads to feel.

CCM also includes a removable liner with knee cut-out - another high-end feature that allows for some added comfort and personalization. The knee-cut out allows for more airflow, while the liner gives you a custom fit and the ability to remove it for cleaning.
